Address Future Challenges_PChallenge

Emory wanted to reduce administrative time for management of skills validation. With so many evaluators maxing out the capacity for alternate raters on their previous workflow solution, they felt it had become unmanageable and could not be scaled to meet their evaluation needs.

They began a gradual transition to Checklist. Having worked with HealthStream for a number of years, their Success Manager was able to immediately work with them to offer enhancements to increase efficiency and save evaluators time.

Checklist has been well received. When it was first rolled out to their CNEs, it got a standing ovation from a group of early adopters. They praised the user-friendly aspect, noting it was more conducive for use with the skills lab. It is credited as being integral to the team’s success. In just one year’s time, they achieved 1,902 completions of 187 competency checklists. Checklist has met their needs for both bedside and skills fair evaluations.

"The reason we do what we do is our patients, and our job is to support the frontline people who care for them. Using Checklist to evaluate our caregivers helps us to ensure that we are doing that to the best of our ability.”
