The pandemic brought on challenges in providing certification classes using traditional training programs.  The traditional training programs in use were inflexible and often led to dissatisfaction among staff. These rigid programs required their employees to invest significant time and effort, causing frustration and logistical issues, particularly concerning payroll system lockouts for those needing to recertify. Creating an overall dissatisfaction with the previous program in both the staff and leaders.

The innovative program offered an adaptive learning style that allowed employees to quickly test out of familiar material, thereby saving time and focusing on areas requiring improvement. The flexibility of the resuscitation suite enabled staff to complete certifications at their own pace, which was especially crucial during the unpredictable and demanding pandemic period.
