CG-CAHPS

Over the past several years, the CG-CAHPS survey has become increasingly recognized as the measure of patient experience for medical practices. HealthStream offers a full suite of CG-CAHPS surveys using a CAHPS-aligned model with a frequency-based ratings scale.

CAHPS for PQRS

The CAHPS for PQRS Survey is one of the quality measures that practices may submit to satisfy Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) reporting requirements. PQRS is a CMS quality program that uses negative payment adjustments to encourage providers to report quality data. Practices must field the official CAHPS for PQRS Survey to satisfy the PQRS reporting requirement.

  • 80 total questions
  • 12 summary measures

CAHPS for ACOS

The CAHPS for ACOs Survey is one of the quality measures Accountable Care Organizations in the Medicare Shared Savings Program are required to submit to CMS on an annual basis. ACOs will have the option of fielding the shorter ACO-9 or longer ACO-12 version of the survey.

  • ACO-9 includes the nine summary measures that are part of the ACO quality standard.
  • ACO-12 includes all of the items on the ACO-9 plus three additional measures that are not scored.
