Safer Births with AIM Patient Safety Bundles
Join us to learn how the Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) are providing healthcare facilities nationwide with the education and tools necessary to make birth safer, improve maternal health outcomes and save lives with their newly developed AIM Patient Safety Bundle Learning Modules.
AIM, funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), provides quality improvement strategies and multidisciplinary approaches to improve quality of care for pregnant and postpartum patients through their core patient safety bundles. These core bundles, which are supported by specific quality metrics and measures through AIM data collection plans, are the building blocks of the AIM program’s efforts to address the leading known causes of preventable severe maternal morbidity and mortality in the United States.
In partnership with HealthStream, AIM developed 8 learning modules on the AIM Patient Safety Bundles. These learning modules consist of evidence-informed best practices developed by multidisciplinary experts, which address clinically specific conditions in pregnant and postpartum people.
